Sorry for a crappy Photo Booth picture;P

My new project at uni is a research project, which means that it is theoretical. The first thing I have to do is to make a power point, but I also have to make a research book. I have started, and I pretty much know what I have to do, but OH MY, I’m so bored out of my mind. I don’t want to look back on history to see when and why people wore shirts and how they looked. It this project was handed to me at the beginning of the year I would have loved it. I was used to making power points and doing research and to be able to do fashion research would have been thrilling. Why is it so different now? I’m doing everything but research now. I’ve watched hours of One Tree Hill and I draw stuff from magazines. I just can’t seem to do anything relevant. This makes me reconsider that dream (one of many) of working in a fashion magazine.

Oscars 2010

Anna Kendrick in Elie Saab

I love the soft shade of pink towards her pale skin. It is a classic dress, but at the same time a little different with lace details. The loose hairdo emphasizes the romantic dress and the simple accessories complements the whole look.

Cameron Diaz in Oscar de la Renta

Cameron Diaz looks sophisticated in this creation from Oscar de la Renta. Such a bold dress looks best with classic hair and toned down accessories, which is the look Diaz went for. Glittery dresses were a huge trend at the Oscars this year.

Demi Moore in Atelier Versace

The powdery shades are a big hit this season, and Demi Moore shows us how to pull it off. Atelier Versace has made a dream of ruffles and Demi is the perfect woman to wear it.

Diane Kruger in Chanel

This dress is simply wonderful. It could have been a boring, way to classic gown, but with all the details going on, this creation makes me happy. Diane Kruger looks lovely with her hair up, giving the dress the attention it deserves. Matching, black was a safe, but smart move.

Elizabeth Banks in Versace

It is a bit similar to Demi Moores Versace dress, but at the same time it is not. This one gives more of a hard look, giving some edge to Elizabeth Banks. Maybe choosing bigger earrings would balance the look a bit more? Anyway, she looks stunning.

Miley Cyrus in Jenny Packham

This dress is on here merely because of this picture only. I have seen other pictures that shows that this might not have been the right style for Miley. The dress itself I found beautiful, with the showing underwear trend mixed with a sheer, soft look. The accessories and hairstyle is perfect too.

Rachel McAdams in Elie Saab

This dress i amazing, in every way. Rachel McAdams looks great with her hair up, and choosing big earrings as her only accessory was a smart choice. I love the colours, the shades of blue, green and lilac goes great with Rachels skin and eyes.

Perfect outfit for a chilly summer day

I was walking behind a girl on my way to work this morning, and I wish I had taken a picture of her. I am rather tired of workwear these days, so I guess I appreciate the art of dressing well more. This girl wore slightly stonewashed, light blue jeans, layered tank tops and a perfect, black leather jacket with rolled up sleaves. She had a classic, black purse hanging over her shoulder and wavy, blonde hair floating down her back. A simple, yet amazing look. The key to pulling off this look is to make sure the leather jacket fits perfectly. I love the very clean ones with not to many details. Also I’ve heard of this blow dryer that makes saltwater curls. I have to get one of those. Au revoir!
