Sunny day
I was so happy when the sun decided to make an appearance today as well. The sun makes everything better. I did not go out until it was quite late though, but I’ve had a good day. I’ve been watching Gilmore Girls, relaxing, eating scallops and chocolate. Not wearing make up (not that that makes me all that happy, but it was nice). Now I have a heavy night with a lot of pattern cutting to do, but it was so worth it.
Outfit today: Keds shoes, tights from H&M, trousers from Topshop (yes, I’ve been wearing them a lot lately), sweater from Zara, Cardigan from Topshop, coat from H&M, scarf was a gift from my grandpa, bag from Topshop.

Back from London
I am now home after a great weekend in London. I had a fantastic time with Ingrid, Håkon and Tobias. We spent most of our time shopping, and in the evenings we were way to tired to do anything. On friday we arrived at the hotel quite early in the day. After putting our bags in the room we hit Oxford Street. It was highly entertaining to see people with Bergans jackets and snus again, as Oxford Street had been invaded by half of Norway this week. I really had to watch what I was saying. However we did not bump into either Voe or Nette Nestea (I think maybe they both went home the same day that we got there (whatever)). We got very tired after all the shopping, and took the underground back to Paddington. After a lovely dinner at Angus Steak House we bought a few beers and decided to just relax at the hotel room. On the way, we met an old friend of mine, Eira. She joined us for a bit, but went to a concert later on. We got up quite early on saturday and went straight to Harrods. Before actually going to Harrods we looked around in the area around it, and we went on a “museum tour” (as I like to call it) in the insanely expensive stores. It was fun though, seeing the clothes in real life, not only on the catwalk. We spent the day looking around and went back to Oxford Street for a little bit afterwards. Then I really was in a shopping mood, and bought quite a bit. Want to know what I bought? Then continue reading. The night was spent eating greek food at a tiny restaurant with stressed staff and having a couple of beers while watching Ugly Betty in our room. Perfect ending of a perfect trip. Hehe. I also bought a white and blue striped sweater and a blouse with orange/red/yellow flowers at Zara and two pair of earrings at Topshop. I just could not find any pictures online. Outfit pictures will come later if I can persuade Tobias to help me:)

I’ve been very good. I’m trying to save money for our trip to London this weekend, so I didn’t buy much today. I did, however, buy these Tapered Twill Trousers from Topshop. This picture looks stupid, it looks much better on.

Topshop, BZR by Bruuns Bazaar, Gina Tricot and Warehouse. The one from Gina Tricot comes in many colours. If I lived in Norway right now I would probably buy it in beige, purple, blue and coral. These would all look great with tights or tight fitted jeans. Don't forget the heels:)
It’s that time again when everybody is sick of their woollen sweaters and their thick coats and just want the spring to be here.. ..NOW! Unfortunately, the weather (here as in Norway) is very unpredictable. On saturday it was quite warm and I wore a dress (some of you might remember), so yesterday I thought; hey, why not wear my Samsøe Samsøe dress to school tomorrow. I have hardly worn it yet. I would of course have to use thick tights and a long sleeved t-shirt under it, but it looks cool together with what then seems to be a catsuit. But when I woke up today it looked like it was very cold outside, so I just put on whatever I could find first and my very warm and thick coat. I was right. It was cold. So cold it was even snowing when I walked home. I am longing for warm weather and summer clothes.

I just discovered that both Miss Selfridge and Top Shop have made a version of the shoes that I’ve been walking around in for the last couple of years. Fun.
The Royalties at Samfundet
Last Friday, I went to a concert. The Royalties were playing at Samfundet in Trondheim. I had been looking forward to this all since I heard they were playing, and now it was finally here. Samfundet was almost empty when we arrived, but it wasn’t too bad when we got into the concert room. I know Tommy Haltbakk from before, but I haven’t seen him in a year or so. It was really nice to meet him again. He let us backstage with them, which was nice. The room was a lot smaller than what I had expected though. We heard them do a soundcheck (Mari had just arrived by plane) before we found our spot right in front of the stage. They played all their amazing songs, including Shipwreck At Bay (although I thought they said Shitbreak at Bay!?) and My House Is Not A Home. My friend Erin Umstead (although the album cover says Erin Rumstead) sings on one of the songs on their new album, and I missed her “1, 2, 3, 4, I love you”. I had a fun time, dancing to many of my favourite songs, and spending time with the band backstage.
At the concert I wore my Mango skirt with off-white tights, dark brown high heeled shoes from Bianco, a simple grey tube top from H&M and a off-white bolero from Topshop. I curled my hair and pinned it up in the back, braided my bangs and put a white flower in the back. I love this look, as it makes me look dressed up, but not too much. A perfect concert outfit.
